Kimerald Obsession: Better Late Than Never!
I first heard about Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson two years ago (2006) during the PBBTE days. My supervisor was talking about PBBTE and said that he (even though he's old 60+ na LOL) like Gerald, along with her woman flatmates. And since we didn't have TFC that time, I cannot contribute to the conversation. Then one day, I was able to chat with my youngest sister. Then she also asked me if we're watching PBBTE coz she said crush nya si Gerald and she likes Kim so much. I told her that we didn't have TFC so we were not able to watch it. Then she told me that I should watch it coz "kilig" daw.
Ako naman, I thought I already graduated from being "carried away" by those love teams, I just smiled at her indulgently and reminisced how crazy my twin and I had been over those love teams sa GIMIK days esp. Rico-Juday; Mylene-Bojo; Jolina-Marvin and Diether-G.
Each time I chat with her, she would not fail to mention Kim and Gerald - how she watched their movie, how she went to see them when they arrived in Bacolod for the Masskara festival I think. In fact, her Friendster account is also full of Kimerald pictures. AAANNNDDD...our father brought home two kittens that time, a male and a female and she named them, YES, Kim and Gerald. LOL!
And because of her "super kilig" and loyalty to these two, I also decided to see for myself. Their SMM started last year and we were able to follow it - until the account of those who uploaded them in youtube was suspended. Our friend/flatmate watched it with me and my twin and she said time and again that Kim was her favorite back then in PBBTE.
I like their chemistry and I admit, kinikilig din ako while I watch them fight their love for each other in SMM. But it never went to obsession until these last two weeks I think. LOL!
You see, our sister has been asking for a laptop and ipod from us. But then we didn't give them to her coz it's not really a necessity. However, because her grades were so high (lowest is 90 highest nya is 100 daw), Sharie and i have no choice but to give her a reward. So we bought her a laptop and an ipod.
We wanted to make it a surprise for her so I decided to look for a Kimerald wallpaper and avatar to put in her laptop. In the course of my searching for the pics, I came across a lot of Kimerald sites. Then I learned that it was Kim's debut already and that she received a pink car from Gerald.
The romantic in me was stirred and I was dying to know what happened. And so I searched and searched - and saw a lot videos of them. And my GOSH!!!!
Now I understand why people got crazy over these two!! They are so sweet to each other, without any pretentions. They are very artless and so natural. Kakakilig talaga!
And so what have i been doing lately.
1) I was not able to post as frequently in my book club forum because i spent most of my nights searching for vids especially during their PBBTE days.
2) I was not able to update this blog coz I've been searching for articles about them night and day.
3) I was not able to finish washing all the clothes I need to watch coz I got so hooked on them I watch their videos over and over again - especially the one in PERSONA where Ge told Kim na ang ganda nya that time (which I agree), and he rejoiced when Kim admitted na selosa si Kim. LOL Bakit kaya.
OMG, I'm addicted to them. I have stayed up late since last week just watching videos of them. I need a daily fix of them now.
I have never felt this intense obsession over a love team. Not even towards those GIMIK love teams which I got crazy over too, not towards Juday-Piolo who I also love with a passion. This is the first time I was obsessed. Besides, I was never a fan of younger artists ksi feeling ko, I am an immature if I got crazy over them. in fact, in GIMIK before, ang mga older barkada lang ang feel ko - sina Patrick, Kaye and etc.. I just watch them but they're not included in my list of fave local artists.
OMG, I want to watch all those vids of them in PBB. I love it more than their guesting shows kasi it's so natural there. Sometimes, I can feel them holding back sa mga guestings but in PBBTE and other fan videos, they really cannot seem to stop expressing their love "invisibly". Gets nyo?
What I mean is, just watching at them, you can feel there is something in the air - like it's sizzling. And as I watch them, I can't help but grin like a fool.
And now, since i heard about Gerald giving Kim a pink car (Btw, pink din fave colors ko at mahilig din ako sa butterflies LOL), grabe parang maloka na ako.
I'm just a little dismayed that some of the PBBTE videos were removed already from youtube. Sayang, gusto ko pa naman mapanood ang buonb PBB.
And I thought I am way past those "loveteam fan" phase. LOL! Deep breath. SIGH. There, at last i was able to let it out. I've been planning to write this in weeks but I got sidetracked by Kim and Gerald. LOL!

GIMIK
Sang nagligad nga Miyerkules, nagapangita ko sa internet articles about sa birthday celebration ni Rico Yan bisan patay na sya kay i read somewhere na nagcelebrate naman family and fans nya.
Pero ang nakita ko, links sa mga GIMIK videos!!!Ti lipay lipay gid ko eh kay buang kami daan sa GIMIK sang una. Gin email ko dayon kay Sharie and link.

Tapos nagtan aw kami ka mga episodes kag gin kilig naman kami eh kay nakita naman namon ang "barkada" kg ka sweet daan sang mga love teams.
SIGH, tani gabaligya DVD sang GIMIK ang ABS CBN kay mabakal gid kami. Kabakal kami snag una VHS tape nga first issue (1st and 2nd episode and unod) pero daw wala na namon to nakita kay gin sugo to namon sila na ipadala di pero wala gin dala sa amon kay bug at kuno. Basi bala nadula na to sa Iloilo haw.
Hay grabe, amo lang ni ang show nga gin buangan gid namon kag every week gabakal kami showbiz magazine kay ara sila pirmi sa covers and sa mga articles kag pati sa mga TV shows kag movie. Grabe gid sikat nila mo.

Ano ang bag o sa akon kabuhi!
Hay salamat, kay natapos ko man gid update ang akon blog. Kadamo sang gusto ko tani isulat sang mga nagligad nga adlaw pero di ko gusto magupdate samtang hindi ko pa nasaylo ang mga old posts ko.
So, ari na akon bag o na blog.
Gina sang aga, gin tamad naman ko magbangon tani. Pero mayo lang kay daw mag nagtulod gid sakon na magbugtaw kag hindi na mag absent sa obra. Ti mayo gid kay daw may gatan aw sakon. siguro akon anghel dela guardia. :D
Kaadlawan sang amon abyan kag upod sa balay sa Miyerkules so mahanda kami dyutay sa balay. Kag sa Huwebes wala obra! Yehey!!! Kay kaadlawan sng Propeta nila na si Mohammad.

Tilaw tilaw lng ni anay.
Ang ini na lugar para sa akon pautwas sa gakatabo sa palibot ko. Napaminsar ko na mayo ni himu on para maanad ko paminsar sa akon gid nadak an nga hambalanon.
Kag mayo ni himuon na panglibak sa mga tawo nga hindi kaintiendi sang akon nahambal. Hahaha, hindi ah, lango lango lang.
Kag sa diri sa Kuwait, kun gis a mas dasig na ko maminsar sa Tagalog kag English kag gis a ayawan ko paminsar sa mga Ilonggo na tinaga sa mga butang nga napaminsar ko.
